Ex-L.N.E.R. A4 pacific No. 60009, 'Union of South Africa', heading the Birmingham Snow Hill to London Paddington 'Inter City'
through Prince's Risborough. No. 60009 was deputising for 6024 on the 'Inter City' from Birmingham to Paddington. The A4 failed
near Ealing, and the train returned, via Oxford, diesel hauled. (2004)
